Roll a joint in a fruit roll up

So this weekend, I was at a Modest Mouse concert in Des Moines Iowa. I myself have only smoked pot a few times, mostly recreationally with a few buddies but this really piked my interest. I was at the concert and saw these 2 guys take out a fruit roll up and fill it lengthwise with pot and then roll it lengthwise (cut into sections) and wrapped in tinfoil. They then smoked it but the dancing pushed me away from them so I couldn't see.
Have any of you ever heard of this? If not, is it possible?

Smoking sugar or paper? Either way it doesnt sound to great, especially with aluminum foil.

Um, a fruit roll up would not hold a flame, neither would the foil its wrapped in if you made a joint out of it. And a fruit rollup? This is the most retarded thing I have ever heard.
